Life is a lost battle...
The day we were born a battle begun. Battle of Life. But I wonder whether its worth fighting. The battle which is already lost. Everyday we fight for the survival and every night we sleep celebrating the victory of that day. But is this a victory or just an illusion, just a consolation, just a lie which we tell us every night.
We are afraid of death and every day we fight to escape; pretending to be optimisitic about our beliefs. How long are we going to run, how far can we run. Until the day comes when we are on our death bed, and our whole life just flashs in front of our eyes, and we realize that the whole life was a biggest joke nature played.
Love, emotions, beliefs, opinions , ideas, achivements, excellance everything we cared about through-out our life become so worthless, so unimportant in that one moment. The moment we realize that everything is fake and eternal truth of life is its end..
Thats the worst moment of life, when we understand it was a lost battle we were fighting against. It was illusion which we believed in...
But I still wonder...
Are we prepared to accept death as a part of life, are we ready to consider life is not running away from death, but accepting it. Are we ready to look at life beyond a survival. Are we prepared to win the lost battle....

man..you are raising interesting questions..hmmm thought provoking indeed...
but they have to wait..i have to do some mundane work first..so that my ideas, achievements, excellence etc are not hampered :)
but i promise to come back and give it the time that it deserves...
this makes me wonder if my priorities are screwed ( or may be just skewed) ..or may be i have answered your question by denying to answer it...
Life is a Battle - "Accepted".. But the adjective 'Lost' doesnt seem to fit in your blog. I remember when we once entered into a philosophical converstaion about destiny and life..
I will make u remember, in hope to answer ur own question. There u concentrated on, "Life is a Journey and theres nothing called Destiny in one's life".. So, concentrate on it again.. If life is a battle started, then that battle, that journey itself is life, my dear. Love, emotions, beliefs, opinions, etc are not really worthless. This is what we experienced through out our life, took decisions, made commitments & fullfiled them. They cant be denied at the last moment of life.
Ya, I agree people are afraid of death, but the survival is the journey, which gives us the purpose to live in this world as we like. If something needs to be eternal, than that should be the feeling of satisfaction of being lived a life of our own dreams, apart from the ever known eternal end of it.
I feel that instead of thinking of life as a lost battle, v should narrow down to a life, which makes as believe our own existence and purpose in this world. What ever v do in your life, will contribute to the course of world and even its end wouldnt be able to deny it.
On earth we always see it flat. The curious, search for the end of the earth, it always keeps eluding them, however far they go. On the way they meet people, clear paths for the fellow curious and moreover expand their mental horizons.
When the curious sees the round globe from ABOVE, he would cry out of sorrow and joy, secretly happy that the younger curious will easily find out that the world is indeed round, following his trail.
